Easton Pro X Baseball Catcher's Gear Set INTERMEDIATE NAVY/SILVER

Protect the plate like a pro with the Easton Pro X Intermediate Baseball Catcher’s Kit.  As worn by San Diego Catcher, Austin Hedges, this catcher’s kit includes Pro X helmet, chest protector and leg guards. The Intermediate kit is recommended for players ages 13 to 15.

The Easton Pro X catcher’s helmet features plush wrapped padding with breathable air mesh and BioDri™ moisture wicking fabric for added comfort. Poron XRD™ technology in the upper crown is used to help absorb shock on impact.  Equipped with an ergonomic chin cup design which provides a better fit and allows for improved player communication, and the forehead, crown, rear and chin pads are removable and washable. Additionally, the Easton Pro X™ Intermediate Catcher’s helmet features an extra wide rear top strap for secure locked-in adjustment for a better fit and meets the NOCSAE™ standard for all levels of play.  Fits hat sizes 7 1/8" – 7 1/5".

The Chest Protector is constructed with a 4-point webbing strap system and a comfortable neoprene back organizer. The use of a heavy-duty black coated steel inset waist clip allows the player to adjust this chest protector to fit perfectly without the adjustment tool moving and becoming more tight or loose while in use. Featuring stacked memory foam in the ab area to provide improved rebound control so blocked balls stay close.  Measured from the top of the sternum to the waist, the Easton Elite X Intermediate catcher’s chest protector comes in at 16". Additionally, the use of an adjustable shoulder cap will allow for increased protection on one shoulder.

The Easton Pro X Intermediate Leg Guards’ wide-set knee design provides a larger surface area in the blocking position and allows for more explosive side-to-side movements. The reinforced knee and thigh connection provides a more secure fit when moving in and out of the catcher’s squat. Additionally, the inner, removable knee pads are built with shock absorbing Poron XRD™ foam and are surrounded by plush foam for added support and comfort. The Pro X™ shell has a vented designed and an EVAIR™ foam liner for increased airflow and breathability with a removable shin bad for comfort adjustability. Measured from the middle of the knee to the anklebone, these leg guards are measured at 15.5". Exclusive to the adult and intermediate models, the toe extension piece is designed to hang down across the foot to protect the toe from errant pitches or help in the blocking position.
